Removing the Counterfeit Notice from Microsoft Office 2021
Make sure your computer is on line. It would be best to close any open Microsoft Office programs at this stage such as Word, Excel or Outlook. First copy the green text below ready to paste it later. Then use any one of the below 3 methods to open a command prompt.
1) type cmd in the search box in the bottom left corner of your desktop. When it suggests command prompt, right click on it and select run as administrator (please ensure you do this as this is very important). then click "Yes" to allow this app to make changes.
2) Another way to open the Command prompt is to hold the Window key down (bottom left of keyboard) whilst typing the letter X let go and then hold the shift down whilst typing the letter A then click "Yes" to allow this app to make changes. It will then open the black command prompt or blue powershell sceens either is OK.
3) Yet another way is to Click Start. Scroll down through the apps until you get to the "Windows System" folder then expand it by clicking on the down arrow to the right. Right click on “Command Prompt.” and then select more, then select run as adimistrator and then click "Yes" to allow this app to make changes.
When the black or blue window appears, type or preferably copy and paste into the open window the following green writing in one batch and then push enter.

Please wait for the script to run, It should then finish its operation and say “Product Activation Successful” and then after a few lines “Exiting”. If it doesn’t reach the end of the script put your cursor at the end of the word “act” in the black box and hit enter again
Please be patient, If it doesn’t reach the end of the script after a long wait hit enter again.
Once done try opening Microsoft Word and see if the Genuine notice has gone.
If it has then you can close the black command box. If not try restarting your computer and trying again.
